Three people have been killed and a minimum of nine individuals were injured in the most recent Ukrainian strike on the Russian frontier area of Belgorod, as reported by regional authorities.

The loss of life took place subsequent to an assault on the community of Maslova Pristan during Wednesday morning, sources confirmed. Rescue personnel were carrying on seeking for people feared trapped under rubble.

This marks the third straight day that Ukraine has targeted the region, leaving thousands of people lacking electricity and no fewer than two additional individuals fatally injured.

Series of Attacks Result in Destruction

The Wednesday wave of aerial assaults damaged homes, transportation and electrical infrastructure in various areas of Belgorod, per information from government communications.

In the nearby town of Moshchenoye, six people - comprising a minor - sustained injuries when a rocket and drone targeted transportation, while a person got injured when an automobile was struck in Masychevo.

The assaults succeed 48 hours of comparable strikes that have led to electricity failures and structural damage in urban Belgorod and surrounding areas.
